I’d ask if they’d sell you a used good coil off a junker they’ll have out back

Where abouts in NZ are you?
I'd do a bit of research so you know off hand which models have a compatible coil, then as Tom suggested, do the rounds of the local small engine repair shops asking after a good second hand unit. Take the original coil so you have something to compare as a lot of shops will just have a box of random coils

Ebay has a few used oem ones.
Aftermarket are really crap imo breakdown on high rpm
Stihl charges too much for this and other parts, but the aftermarkets can’t make it and sell it for $20 and expect it to work 100% either

Join the book of face, search for local (New Zealand) chainsaw groups and ask on there- there will be a few hundred wrecks laying around the countryside that will have coils you can use.
But, are you 100% sure you need a new coil? Lots of other things can go wrong, more simple things that can cause a lack of spark. Can you describe the symptoms that caused the need for you to go pricing new parts?
