I assume the crankcase must have been replaced at some point, as there is no ID tags on the saw, and with you saying it has a lower muffler mount, but it has the replaceable big end and older starter type, just 1 last question, what's this big bolt for on the front?View attachment 309547
Stihl call it a drain plug, but there is a Stihl tool called a 'Crankshaft locking nut', that fits in there to lock the crank, to help with removing the clutch, etc .
And the lack of tag's was common on Super's!
