Stihl D20 AV electronic quickstop chainsaw.
Lost our owners manual, years ago, really needs some tuneup and cleaning, and would like a parts list for this.

States that it was made in Germany.

This # imprinted on the bottom of the chainsaw, 911143510501 (S in a box) 31 11.

Any help please.

Stihl 020 AV Super electronic quickstop chainsaw

Thank you.

So now that I know that our Stihl is a #020AVSEQ

I will be looking for some parts to do a tuneup, and cleaning.

I want to get a new chain. DH has used a sharpening tool for years, and it's
about time for a new chain. The chainsaw has a 16" blade #4813.
So what is a good chain for cutting down dead pine trees about 8" or less around?

Any hints on cleaning the air filter and fuel filter ?
Any household cleaning solutions that I should not use when I clean the oil buildup on the case when I get the covers off?
I'll be using a clean paint brush, toothbrush and vaccum to get all the old sawdust off of the insides and outside.

Any places I shouldn't touch with a vaccum ?

You throw away the fuel filter and replace it. Wash the air filter in hot soapy water and blow out. use Purple cleaner diluted 4:1 for general cleaning, or you can try simple green.

The saw is likely set up for 3/8 Picco. The Stihl PMC or PM chain works very well.

As for "cutting down trees" - be careful with this saw... it's a top handle and can bite you really quickly -

Saw is designed to be hauled aloft by climbers. Not sayin' you can't fall trees with it... but it would be better to use a rear handled saw for fallin' trees.

Also while cleaning... low pressure compressed air is your friend!:)

We know that. we have had this 020 since it was new.
Husband did tree trimming business back in the 1970's.

Used now for years camping, he likes the the top and side handle.

And he's good with a chainsaw! :chainsawguy:
