Stihl EDT5

I have an EDT5 tach. and don't remember how to use it. I think it works on 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines, but what does the position and reset buttions do? The position button changes the display from P 22:44 to P 21:42 and back. What are these numbers? thanks
PS. anyone know where I can view an owners manual online?

P 21:42 measures rpm from 100 to 19000 in a 2 stroke/ 1 cylinder or 4 stroke/ 1 cylinder or 4 stroke/ 2 cylinder.
P 22:44 measures rpm from 100 to 9500 in a 2 stroke/ 2 cylinder or a 4 stroke/ 4 cylinder.
If nonsense digits and symbols appear in the display, press the reset button.
Attach test lead if necessary.
The stihl number on the booklet for the EDT 5 is 5910 850 1006 try an email to stihl.
