Saw is on its way to Tennessee. Thanks again Steven.

For anyone on the fence about one of these, go ahead and make the purchase! I was more than impressed with this 241 to say the least. I don't know how Stihl could have made it better, other than a little cheaper price tag (yep this kind of build quality and technology aint cheap). I bought this saw just to see what the fuss was about, no other reason than that curiosity and my love for saws.
I have other saws to choose from, and if I get the itch I may get another. I think the next saw in line will be the Dolmar 421, I have heard a lot of good about them and cant help but notice the modest price tag. I try not to go overboard in what I have wrapped up in work saws, they save me about $800-1000 a year in heat and that is all the justification I have for this disease... Thanks to all that inquired about this saw.

I ordered mine today.. :)

Will be at the dealer in about 2 weeks.

Thanks to you for posting this one up and getting my curiosity started. Stopped at the dealer and made it final today. Walked out with a 6 pack of oil and a nice hat today

I got a job with 140 tops to cut and just made the deal final yesterday. I was on the fence with the 362C or 241C. But with this "Tops" job, it made the 241 necessary.

Thanks for the info on this saw. Had you not posted it, I would have gotten a 261 or 362. And those are as heavy as my 036 is, so I would be better off buying No saw. Buying a saw is ALWAYS better than not buying a saw :)

Took you long enough
been distracted, covered up in work, put two trucks in the shop, had 3 nannies kid twins in the past week- 1 doe that birthed on the 9th abandoned one of her kids and we have brought him in the house and are bottle feeding him. Our oldest goat Bella (6)kidded on the 12th in the rain, has caught pneamonia and is dying. Ive had the vet out twice in 2 days, he is coming back in the morning (if she makes it). We have both her kids in the house too- the little doeling is warming up to the bottle idea, the little buckling is having no part of it. Very difficult facing loosing Bella, we bottle fed her from birth and she was the first pet Kari and I got together.
