I rebuilt this saw with a Meteor piston, OEM seals, OEM fuel line/filter, did a muffler mod (split the muffler and gutted it, then brazed it together and painted it with POR15), and adjusted the the squish. The only flaw is a crack in the crankcase below the flywheel. I repaired the crack by molding two strips of aluminum, one on each side of the case, and bolting them together making a sturdy fix. Otherwise, the saw is in great shape with nothing missing or broken. The chainbrake functions as it should. It starts, idles, and runs as it should, and with the muffler mod, it cuts very well.
