I'm selling my nearly brand new MS440 with a 25" Stihl Rollomatic bar on it. Saw has about 4 tanks of gas through it. I'm replacing it with an MS660. I'm looking to get $600.00. Thanks for looking. If you desire pics....PM me or email.

Tony

Tony, I sent you an e-mail. Don't let power go to your head, dumping a 440 to replace it with a 660 only to have a 338 for your other saw is a BIG mistake.

I've got an 020T, MS200T, 260 PRO, 044, and 066. I bought the 260 for 2 reasons, 1 my 029 got stolen a while ago, and 2, I carried my 044 around on the ground all day for 2 days in a row just to do some light bucking and lots of limbing. The 044 is too heavy to be carrying around all day on the ground if you don't need that much saw. The 660 is even more so.

mid size

I have an 036 Pro that my friend gave me with an 18" for my midsize. I am not without options....:)

036/066 makes a right fine pair!  It's what I've got on the truck (along with a beater "fun" 044 that came much later for no particular reason).

If I was starting fresh, however, and wanted a pair of Stihls I'd think 026/046 might be a little more reasonable.  Now I've got option paralysis.

I agree that $600 is a bit optimistic, sorry to say.

I'm bumping my own thread. Does anyone have an older Husky 288 or something comperable that they would be willing to trade for this saw. I've decided to rock something in the 80-86cc range as opposed to jumping all the way up to 91+. Please tell me somebody has something in their arsenal.

Tony, The 288 is 88cc so you aren't really saving anything. The 288 weighs just about as much as the 066. If you can work on your own saws take a serious look into the Dolmar 7900. If more power is wanted then try an EHP7900.

I have a older 066 that is ported and is still in good shape or I have a 372 or a 385 huskys. I would be willing to give you some money to even out a trade. Is that your saw on ebay?Let me know if your interested. :) Dan

Hey Dan thanks for the reply. I think we can work something out with the 385xp. Is it relatively new..or do you have any pics. By the way..yes that is my saw on ebay. However if you desire to do the deal, i'll pull it off.
