stihl rs help

hi guys according to Stihls website they no longer sell rs chain in 3/8. Does anyone know when this changed took place? There are people selling loops of rs chain for 3/8 on ebay and im wondering if its the real stuff. They say its not rsc wich i believe was the replacement for rs.

Try your local saw shop

I bet that there's still a ton of RS in the pipeline. Your local Stihl dealer could probably make a loop from a old roll. I'm using 33RSC on 2 saws and is great chain. It seems smoother in the cut & stihl cuts pretty good.

The RSC cuts exactly the same as RS. Supposed to be smoother, but I can't tell the difference.

Lakeside53 is correct, They do not make the RS anymore it is now a RSC Rapid Super Comfort reduced vibration levels. I have used both and can not see a differance either.. My buddy who is a Stihl rep siad I wouldn't see a differance and guess what he was right, He siad the change was made to create less operator fatigue..
