I have a 18'' bar with 3\8 rsc3 chain on my ms361 and it cuts very well for a safety chain. What do you guys think of this chain? Is it close to stihl RS or RSC chain or is it a slower cutting chain?

It's not a lot different in cutting speed to the "non safety" RSC

Agreed, but try telling that to the large number of customers we have that are so hard headed they'll take a dull RSC over a sharp RSC3.

I think the chain cuts great, So it must just make the nose of the bar not so aggressive then right? If thats the case then I like the design.

It is a "kick-back redused" chain - there is no such thing as a "safety" chain.

From the look of it, it should be pretty good for crosscutting, as long as chip clearanse doesn't become a problem. The basic design is copied from the Oregon LP, but both the rakers and ramps are larger.

I have never used one, so this is just an assumption, based on the look of it, compared to other designs.

There is really no reason to not buy regular RSC next time you buy a chain for the saw, unless you are a total :newbie:

Buy it now, and you can compare, and report back.........:biggrinbounce2:
