well it came Monday.... btw it was 2 bills otd seems steep but he was 40 cheaper than the other semi local dealer:cry:

I used it today and it was worth every penny:hmm3grin2orange: took 3 seconds to pull a small flywheel side seal that took me an hour to get nowhere with a pick and multiple other homemade tools:clap:....now 2 more customer saws that need seals, it may pay for itself quicker than I thought......

I just got the Stihl order for a lot less than $200.

I agree, with 4 Stihl's sat here needing crank seals, it will pay for itself in the next couple of weeks. And it isn't like it will rot away, I'm gonna have the thing the rest of my working life...hope that's a long time! :msp_ohmy:

Randy,
Can you get the case pulling tool as well. If you can id take the pair. I was quoted $480 from my local dealer...who looked at me like i was a martian when i said i was still somewhat interested. $170 is cheap for that tool if you have an 026 seal to replace.

I got a few other parts to order you should have so it might make sense to pack em up from one shipper.

or this one will work, just spread the fingers a little. Works on Stihl saws as well, I have the Stihl case tools, this works just as fast and is easier to set up. http://www.weedeaterman.com/product_p/wemhus502516101.htm

I have that one on my bench now...doesn't do me any good for pulling them back together. I realize there are many ways to skin cats...but sometimes the "factory" tool is designed correctly. I also have TAD....("tool" addict...oh heck you know what it means)

I ordered one from my dealer. $190 was the best he said he could do. I have a pole saw here now awaiting seals and it will get used on that first. I tried with picks etc to them out and gave up since it is not my unit.

I know I will get good use out of it. Supposed to be here maybe Tomorrow I can only hope.

I need a case splitter as well Watson what's the going rate for one shipped?
