Bob,

I can never get that close to your place without stopping in for a few saws. I just added them to collection here. One of these days I might just shoot you an offer on a truck box full. It looks like I am headed to Chicago to bring back a car so if anyone along the way has some saws or mowers to part with I am interested.

Bill

Dustin and myself are employed by the same company, Dustin works at the Iowa plant and I work at the Wisconsin plant. Our inspector is going on vacation. So Dustin will be up doing the inspection

STS should be back in Dubuque next year. This is the second year and according to a press release by STS, they liked the area etc. Also this year they had a bigger display full of saws, goodies and other equipment so I would assume they are enjoying the couple days they are in Iowa. :D

Seth

Looking forward to seeing you the week of the 18th. Not looking forward to Walnut though :bang: We just finished up today after sawing it for about a week. Was able to get a lot of thick stock...6 &10/4

Walnut pile up there full of pecker poles or do you have some decent size??

Looking forward to the change of pace and break from all the bs :D

We'll have to get together and run out to the ol' boys saw shop on County RD T there by Blue River. I got to make a stop at Schells sometime too.

Madsaw

Where at in WI are you located?

I have a few more pics I'll get up ASAP and a video clip of the hotsaw.

Southwest corner in Darlington. I am about 45 mins from Dubuque.
Seth do you ever talk to Freymiller up on the hill on CTY T? He's a long winded chap. His cousin comes down to the antique tractor show here and runs his saw rig.
Bob

Dustin, there will be a fair share of pecker poles(4,6 and 10/4) oh and one piece of custom work will be done on the band mill 16/4x14"x4'.See ya soon.

Bob,I have'nt talk to freymiller in over a year or better he does'nt buy pallet logs from us anymore. But you are right the man was blessed with a set of lungs.

Seth.....You referring to ol' man minor! I was wondering about the Walnut as I don't think the kiln guys want anymore :hmm3grin2orange: We finished up Aspen and a mill run of Butter nut today than started on the H.Maple.

If nothing else we'll sure have to have a few cold ones

Madsaw

Cant say that I have ever been around there but than again I could have and never paid no attention! How many head of cattle ya got? Beef or Dairy?

We milk about 35 to 40 this time of year. We have about 100 head of milk cows at any given time. It s almost like milking 2 herds one for summer one for winter. Not much goes on over here in darlington to cause much stir. Between the county fair and the couple of spring and fall festivals its not much anything to come here for.
