As the title says, looking for a Stihl saw that will pull at least an 18" bar and chain in hardwood...looking for a friend that blew up his craftsmen and is trying to do some storm cleanup with a battery saw. Farm and ranch or pro saw, looking to spend under $200. Let me know what you've got.

(I've been looking through the "want to sell" posts but got frustrated by looking at posts that are still up and then getting to the last post- only to read that the saw has been sold- MODs- is there some way to get rid of these posts?)

Good luck meeting those parameters. I guess it really comes down to expectations, you can probably find a decent 290 for that money.

Dude....no need to be a richard-head- open your eyes and look a few posts down, there's several 026 but they are sold and the threads haven't been closed...so they are out there.

I think an 088 or a 3120 would pull an 18" maybe

Character is who you are when no one is looking

Same goes for you NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOORRRRRRRKKKKKKK....it was an honest, reasonable question....no need to be a Dee Baggie

Dood, lighten up and roll with it. When you get defensive, people tend to pile on. If you can't take picking, you are in the wrong place.

No, you're in the wrong place. World needs less saw snobs and more people who are helpful. Looking for a saw for a guy that has storm damage to his house and property...you must be rich cause you can buy anything you want and spend a ton of money on any saw...well, not everyone is. Trying to get him in to a better saw than the crap he was running.

Yup...great for the site....good way for all the guys on here to sell saws....

Weesa i told you on another thread there is still a 026 here for $200. It was bumped to the top an hour ago.

Yep, somebody's got their panties on inside-out.

It's all about context...this is the trading post, if I wanted to discuss the merits of saws or BS about what saw will pull an 18" bar or what not, I would go to the correct discussion section...this is for buying, selling, and trading saws. Out in the other areas, I wouldn't be so reactive because I expect it out there, but not in here...some people actually want to do business in here. Just leave us alone and let us do business if you don't have anything productive to add to the thread.

Thanks, I posted asking if it was still available. Someone else had PM'd as well.
