stihl top handle

picked up the saw today. cant figure what it is but runs, oils an such perfect.
sorry cant do pics.

somthing? . 5 cu in.
top handle directly over the plug
choke switch on top... on off switch rite beside the top handle
num210615953 sr
no chain break and dont quite match anything on mikes site
oh yes the gas an oil caps are just oposite the chain,not under the hand guard,with the mix on top.
any help appreciated fellas, its got me baffled. help please if u can.. . but runs good.

one mo thing . the exhaust is on the left as u are holding the saw. but the saws made for an right handed person..
got it running an cutting good now just
wish i could figure what model it is..
fish where u at bud . u can usually find out by the serial numbers.
on lookin at mikes site it is made like the 009 without the chain break. anybody knows id appreciate it.
also its orange an black unlike the one pic in mikes site.

Na, the chain is too loose. Reminds me of the Echo saw, cant remember the model number tho.

similar but thisaws handle comes dn about half as far as that one and goes strait in, even with where the switch is on the pictured saw. with the plug under the handle. also totally different color scheme. orange with black handles guards a such.
on looking at the 2.5 on the crank ,plus the caps positioning. this saw is very close to that saw.
if thats the 011 this got to be another version of that saw.

Like this? This saw shown has the wrong side cover, it's an 011av the other one is an 011avt, earlier versions were orange I just couln't find apicture of an older one.

sounds like a first version 009. Does it have antivibration? The first 009 had neither anti vibe nor chain brake. Still have one.

I have an orange 011av with no chainbrake. It's in pieces at the moment so I can't take a picture.

thanks sedanman an everybody. i lookd at the 009 as stiltech noted. this is an orange version of that saw. without that little chainbreak thingee. well least i know what it probably is . even tho it turns out i mite not have much. dont even know why i bought the thang. it cranked an run so good . guess i went crazy. i was actually thinking id sell my echo 3000 and keep this one .. but with possible pts unavailability ,i think not.

well i pulled another smartv move..
i could not get that safety chain to cut for nothin. so i took it to my dealer
to set up rite.. i woulnt have but this saw got so much torque i could bear dn hard on an 10 in hardwood and while it was cutting poorly . i couldnt slow it dn. real old time torque.. so ill end up with probably 75 or more in the saw and it probably wouldnt bring 75 on ebay..
but i never said i wus money smart.
just like a good tool.

but otherwise his dscription ,fits it.thanks
