Stihl Torx sizes

I'm trying to remember the Torx sizes on Stihl saws...

Would this kit cover most of them? T27... I think I would need? or is it T25 that are head bolts usually?

T27 for most of the screws. There are several T20's on the newer saws. Get one that you can chuck into a 1/4" cordless impact.

I just have screwdriver type. I pulled a cylinder off a 26 last night, took going though 4 toolboxes to find a screwdriver that the handle didn't just spin on the shank!
I used a T25 for that.. T27 wouldn't fit. Wrong size or the smaller saws use small bolts?

Check out cripedistributing. They have 5 packs of irwin t27 long bits for around $5 shipped. I just bought some and they are pretty tough.

I bought 10 on ebay for 10 dollars t-27 6inches long

Was hoping to find a whole kit. I know I use T25, T27, T30 and I want to say a few small sizes from time to time on saws. I work on all brands, makes, models of OPE.

I don't need T handel hex, already have 3 or 4 sets of those.

Just got mine in fridaymy dewalt 20v is the bomb on saws.
Stihl is mostly t27 think that there is some t25 on the 025 series
Redmax i think is t25 and t27

This is what I use. I use a 1/4 socket adapter on my impact. Or I use a ratchet if I need to be more delicate.

++1 on what Doug says, a year or two ago weedman Randy did a basic chainsaw repair kit which included case splitter, compression tester, spark tester and a set of Wiha tools at an awesome price. Well l got it and have used the tools so much allowing me to easily repair my fleet of saws and save heaps of monies. I love my tools l got from weedeaterman....they really look after AS members and care about the products they sell. l could have paid ten times the cost of tools and still be infront from what l have saved.
