I have that same Craftsman set. They aren't nearly the quality of a Wiha. As a matter of fact, the T27 was rounded off in the first couple of months. I replaced it with a Wiha several years ago and the teeth still look as crisp as they did when it was new. (and I like and own quite a few Craftsman tools)

Are the craftsman still guaranteed like they used to be?

Right now i'm having some decent luck out of kobalt stuff.it tee'd me off when they quit selling the KD made tools.the taiwan stuff really isn't too bad but what choice dod we have any more unless we buy SK or Snap on or something expensive.:(

I have the torx sizes covered. Any ideas where I can find bits that are at least 6 inches long to fit in my compact impact driver in Husqvarna-Jonsered sizes(4mm and 5mm)?
I have been looking all over and am coming up empty.

I got these T27 driver bits and they are very handy for my impact and Stanley handle as pictured. Now looking for same type of bits in 4mm&5mm.

I like that Stanley flip handle.
Uses a common bit, so no (excessive numbers of) duplicates.
Plus using it in the screwdriver shape (wing closed) it would be easy
to give that little back spin to fasteners, for picking up the threads of the part.

IF You can't/don't do a back spin, you end up with a lot of plastic parts
that have stripped holes after about the 3rd time in.
I'm thinking intake blocks here, guys.

Yes sir, the impact is more for disassembly. Gotta make sure those fasteners are started properly if you are going to use the driver!!!

second the cripeddistibuting mentioned above. I bought those and they work well in a cordless drill or an impact. I prefer to use the impact on the lowest power setting, or even better my drill with the torque set on the easiest (most gentle setting). Seems to work perfect. I do start each screw with a hand driver to avoind stripping, then finish with the drill/impact
