Might be able to obtain an old stihl grinder. Not sure if usg or not, any way to tell from pic or serial number???

I know there is a hard to find, impossible, attachment that is made for it to do it, can this attachment be copied or fabricated easily???

Any help really appreciated!!!

usg models have adjustable head tilt...hos models don't. id like to find a square attachment too. I have some of the wheels...just waiting to find the needle in a haystack, like you.

I was thinking the same thing. If someone actually had one and was willing to take better pics and maybe a video of it in action, it would probably be fairly easy to duplicate and probably adapt to others like the 511 series.

Ahhhh, the holy grail: a square grind adaptor for the 511A . . . Probably easier to make a knock off of a Silvey Swing arm grinder. Pretty simple in design. Once a guy set up the parts on a CNC . . .

Been looking for one for my USG since 07 or 08. Dont matter now as I am out of it and sold all my square filing jigs, files, ATOP, etc.

I would just buy a new Simington now days. Roger did and and did a good thread on it. Nice.
