Picked up this this little beauty today. Not sure about the colour be original?

The 07 / 07s are wonderful and unique saws. The colour is wrong, though with the patina it looks quite beautiful. It should be off white and red.
Looks like a StiCulloch to me, somebody probably painted it to look like a Mac 35 as a gag or possibly as a way to get a family member who'll "be d@mned if they run one of those german machines" to run the saw.
There are saws out there that are olive green that were military issue, could it be that this saw was sold thru a dealership that sold yellow things ?

There are lots of fergy tractors that are red and grey, some grey and gold, but some are all yellow too, the industrial loaders for example.
Be interested to see how it got its colour, apart from someone with a spare can of mac yellow and a paint brush with an idea it would look better.
