Seems to me I read somewhere a while back that this saw is Stihl's competition against Homelite.

A true HOT saw that actually has flames (OK, a flame) coming out of it.
Wish I had ordered more of them, they sold very well.

I don't know what's up, but there's been a run on those things on eBay recently. I mean four or five coming up each day. Seems like a cute toy, but I want one of those foot-long cutters first.
