i do it the same way.. if nobody buys it within a week it goes to ebay.. nobody can afford to wait forever to make a sale. a few times i have not even gotten a single PM or email about items.

You cant wait forever to make money if want get ahead in life So if they were waiting for your price to come down before they look interested to bad now they can bid on ebay and probably pay more

hey I'm not ?????in... I'd do the same thing! the saw is probably worth more than what he's wanting anyway, so hopefully wedge does make more money by going through ebay.

I don't think anyone was waiting for his price to go down. I said I'd take the 046 as soon as I saw the ad, but it was already too late- should have found this site a week or so earlier.

Not saying you were waiting but I have seen it before on this site that people wait for awile before they post in hopes that it will go down

A week sounds reasonable, and should be the norm, this item was listed on ebay after 3 days on this site which was my point. Think after a week of unsatifactory bids here, request to the Mods to delete the thread and sell it at will. Just less confusion in my opinion.

its still for sale just in a different venue. i pulled a different saw off ebay becuse i sold it to a forum member, just case i list a saw here doesnt mean im married to the forum to sell it, i can spread the word around to other areas(ebay)to get it sold, you dont like you dont buy. my reserve on epay is $250(that number sound familiar?) anything less i will use it as a door stop. no one has met the reserve yet so i might get stuck with it yet. hey knot hole you got any leads on any johnnyreds for sale?

Wedge, no, but about the only people I discuss chainsaws with are you guys here on AS. I've still got to do something with my 70 (possible basket case), 625 or 630 (not certain which one it is, but it has good compression, & someone modded the muffler), and a 52 (appears to be seized). Eric from KS dropped off some Osage Orange on Saturday, and told me that I need a proper bar & a new chain on my 670. Good news is my utility room is now airconditioned, now I need to install a small ceiling fan. So, with all yer horse trading, how many Jreds ya got now?
