Wayne,
Well after countess hours yelling at that jap crap pipe, I and it had a very nice talk... I asked it if it had ever heard the saying Found On Road Dead... And Boom it payed attention to me.
I ran the saw in an 8x8 with a good woods chain and pulled a 1.15 sec. on the first cut. And the second cut was a 1.04, the third cut I stuffed it.
I'll have it out to the shop tomarrow night. And you will half to run it to see.

Later,
Chris

I had stihltech running his 064CC up to my house tonight. He ran around 10.5 in an 11 inch round Scotch Pine from a dead start. We ran a bunch of other saws also. Here is a list of what we ran:

026CC
034
044CC
395
3120
064CC
3120KD (And Ken I pulled around 6.5-6.8 with the chain I crashed, the saw is going to be fast this summer, I can't wait till the next meet.)

Stihltech also had the chance to feel the stock saw blues. Our last cuts were in the 11 in round, live start from the ground with your hands on the wood. After both of us cut I edged him out by .06 sec. How's that for close? (Oh and that was running the little 3120 stock saw.)

Later,
Chris

Tony,
The 064CC started off as about ten different saws in boxes. I built this saw from new crank barrings, seals and more. The base saw was an old 064 Sthil, the CC are my call letters like PP or KD.
If you know anything about the old 064's they were real dogs and didn't run very well.

The saw I built for Stihltech was made to get him into the sport of racing chainsaws. Stihltech learned fast that eventhough he had been running a saw since I was in diapers he was not as fast through the wood as I was(give him sometime he will be). The first two logs that we were running through were red maples. The third log was the scotch pine. For racing wood at the shows you run in poplar, beech or white pine are some of the more common woods. The deal with the running through the pine was to get stihltech use to hearing the saw run through the wood and feeling it.

As far as E-luxes for my promotional work, I don't do completely understand you question. As far as my saws I am building for customers I am building one about every 7-10 days lately depending on the order. But I'm not building enough to call it more than a hobby. I'm builing mostly local saws for firewood cutters and guys who want more from their saws.
I hope that answers your question. If not I'm sure you will let me know.

Later,
Chris
