I finished up the 026CC jug and pistion for you. If all goes well I should be out either Monday or Wed. night. Also, I hope that you don't mind that I put a new type of tickle in that 026CC. I want to see what the improvement gain is.

Also, I have started on the updates for the 064CC hotsaw. I think we may need a water jacket to keep it cooled down with the nitro-meth fuel mix I have to run.

What sort of majic can you do for an 024 with an 026 cylinder and piston? Have an old 024 that I really like the feel of. Am thinking about rebuilding it.

Hal,
I would want to check to see if the stroke is the same on those two modles (24 vs 26) first. If it can work then I would rebuild the saw if I were you and get the saw going with freash seals. Then if you like I could turn the saw into a good woods saw ie sleeper saw (looks stock but runs like a 036). If you are interested please email me. We can get into the finner details from there.

Stihlman036 has the right idea. The stroke on the 024 is shorter then the 026 stroke. The 024 Super was the same stroke as the 026 and you can use the 026 barrel on that saw but not the 024.
