sorry to hear about all the carnage, not wishing ill winds on you. we had our fill from last July's storm on gull lake! as they say "better you than us" ....? started the clean up on the 13th of july and finished the first of june this year... suppose it's time for another go around?

Local news reported a tree uprooted and laying on a house in Onalaska, WI. I am going out to look in my woods to see if any trees came down last night.

They said a Tornado touched down a few miles south of me last week. I was just coming out of the sub shop with lunch and it got black dark. Couldn't see my car two lanes over. Rain then hail. It was raining sideways. My cousin lives where the twister hit, he lost a couple White Pines. A farmer friend of his "HAD" his farm out lined with White Pines, he lost over 100 of them. We only had a few twigs in the yard, Joe.

Took a walk in the woods and no trees down that I saw. Hope all stays quiet until after I get the all clear to start using my saws.

Just watched the news and mentioned in there regarding midwest and right coast folks in the storms and heat, wishing everyone east a big break in storms and heat, hang in there guys, gals, women, and children

Haven't had a good storm in over A year and a half around here. I do like a good storm, breaks up the monotony of life.

Odd weather here, no storms. We had a week of way over normal heat, then it dipped to 10 degree below normal. I was out trimming trees today wearing a coat!!
I envy you. I've been working in a sauna bath. Next week is supposed to be even worse. They are predicting real feel temperatures in the 110 F range thanks mainly to enormous humidity. Rain will be off and on, starting tonight. Is this still El Nino at work? I call it jungle weather. Even my chain saws hate it.
