well last night I came home from work and I had just a little heat. and I went out to the owb to check it out, I thought it was out of wood so I open the door and it was over half way filled.so I thought maybe the bottom grate was plug up so I cleaned it and the fire took off , so i let it get really hot before I shut the door and went back in the house and went to bed well the same thing happen again ,but it was not the grate it was the stove pipe it was almost plugged and I have been running a small pipe down it. so i made a pipe cleaner from a 4 1/2 in pipe x 5 in long and welded a 1/2 pipe to it and cleaned it out and it took about 35 min to do that so I am going to start doing it on a regural basic anyone else have any problems like that

I had the same problem on mine, use 6" single wall stove pipe. I use to beat on the side of it with a stick to knock the creosote down in the stove, but I think the best answer is insulated pipe.
