whats the most unusual harness accessory you have had?

doing the block felling i had my logging belt on. when it came to the edge trees, i was climbing attaching a winch wire, cutting, winching over with the remote controlled winch then snedding, crosscutting and stacking. this meant that i had my logging belt attached to my harness, climbing with my timber tongs and logging tape. then snedding with spikes. makes it almost inevitable that you trip in the hag.....

spent 3 days like that. logging harness

the tongs got in the way quite a lot, but it saved me losing them in the under growth

snedding?
trip in the hag?
those tongs look pretty cool. what are they used for? just picking up the end of a log?

terms

snedding, delimbing conifers, this should cover it snedding leaflet

hag = the brash/ brush left on the forest floor, trip = fall over. i think hag is a scottish term.

tongs help lifting the logs, reach down, pinch the log and lift. (i couldnt find a picture so imagine that at the top instead of having a ring have a handle tongs )

does that help.
