Nope, never heard of that.

I'd hate to be the poor soul that had to operate it!;)

Yes they do. Husky markets one as well as several after market companies. Take a look at Tree/Landscape Equipment Trader. There is a company that advertises in there offer a grinding attachment. I believe it is shown attached to a 050/51 or 075/76.

Thats the company I was referring to. I always wondered how pricey they would be.

Magnum Stump Cutter with Stihl TS 760 Power Head $3,345.00
Magnum Stump Cutter with Husqvarna 3120 XP Power Head $3,345.00
Magnum Stump Cutter (without Power Head) $2,445.00

The Husqvarna 272K stump grinder was priced at $1199.95 several years back. I am sure it is probably $100 or so more now. I believe it is complete with a blade and cart. It would have less power than the ones from Alpine Magnum but may still work. I am not sure why you couldn't buy a new 272K then buy a new 3120XP powerhead and adapt it to the cutter. The 272K would run $1200-$1300 and the new 3120 powerhead would run $900-$950. For under $2300 you would have a new stump cutter with a spare powerhead.

Just a random thougt.
