Sugur Shack built from milled spruce

Took down a few spruce trees at a job and got to keep the logs.

Neighbours bandsaw mill was used, and now construction is underway...

Looks great. My students and I built a sugar shack 3 years ago and have a great time learning about the process. Last year we made 19 gallons.

I don't see one in the pics Whitty, but you really need a vent or cupola in the roof for the steam. The ones on my sugarhouse sometimes can't keep up.

We plan on making a hood vent with a blower fan do the pan
