I tried posting in the Homelite thread but got no response. I have ordered and returned several clutch drums for this saw because none of them seem to be correct. Ut101394. The clutch drum on it is for a 5/8 clutch. 1 1/2 total depth and the bearing hole is 7/8. Looking for .404 8 tooth and don't care if it is a rim sprocket or spur at this point as long as it fits. I can provide more info if needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As far as an inner race, there is what appears to be a bushing/washer assembly that the old clutch drum rode on. it will not come off of the crank shaft so I assumed it had to do with the oil pump. All of the drums I have recieved so far that were supposed to have matching ipc part numbers either were not deep enough or the bearing hole was too small. in the pictures the clutch drum on the left is the original I took off. the teeth are worn almost clean through and the chain drive links are bottoming out on the drum.

That's likely the Torrington inner race on the crank.

I have a similar problem with a Rem. SL-11. Can't get the inner race off the crankshaft. So, I measured things up (rim drum bore, O.D. of the inner race/sleeve and the length needed) and bought an Oillite bronze bushing at my local Ace hardware. Pressed it in the clutch drum and cut off the excess with a hacksaw. Honed the I.D. for a running fit.

It is just slid on and should come off, it takes up the space to make the bearing fit. PB blaster or some penetrating fluid of some type and let her soak a little. Then pull it off. If need be, buy another to replace it if you tear it up.

I have a drum & Hug A-65991.This is the rim type listed in the Super 1050 parts book. The diameter of the drum is 3 1/4 inch. The depth of drum is 3/4 inch and he hole for the race is also 3/4 inch. I hve a 404 rim with 8 teeth. If this is the size you need let me know. It is still in the Homelite box marked A65991.

I am sure Joyce will get you fixed up correctly in short time. The drum on the right appears to be part #A-68727-A. If you do not find the right drum I will trade you the correct one for the A-68727-A.

Seems to me that clutch setup was a spare I had for the 1130g, I'll check in the shop and see what I have.

Have you had the old Mac fired off yet? Merry Christmas !! Scoot

Unfortunately no. I have been knee deep in locust and cherry lately. Been keeping those 46's busy. I am probably going to have to wait until january to have a few bucks. Seems like I'm always bleedin this time of year. Everything on the mac looks good to go. I replaced the fuel line but the carb is leaking fuel. Good spark and compression. Maybe my wife will be good to me and get me a carb kit for christmas. :drooln::drooln::drooln:

Zilch on the clutch, sorry.

Ya' know when I think about the wife being good.......carb kit does not come to mind:yoyo:

Don't get me wrong, I love my wife, but I have to have something to tinker with and she knows it.
