I am looking for a new pinion gear and maybe a new rack gear for my Super Mini-Split Log Splitter, which is the homeowner version Super Split. It was sold back in the 1980's by the originators of Super Split, the FXG Corporation. The current company making super splits do not support the Mini-Split for replacement parts, as that model went out of production. Some parts are standard, such as the off-the-shelf bearings, but the pinion gear and rack gear have no part numbers on them. I think they were custom manufactured. Thanks for reading this.

Did you ever find the parts you needed ?
I am looking for pictures or a sketch of the engagement / disengagement mechanism, my Mini has a block of wood bolted in that holds the drive rod engaged into the gears... so it will split but then you have to shut it off and turn it backwards by hand.
The Company sold all the old parts and don't even have photos of what the parts should look like.
