It's a Craftsman model 358.356280. Guy gave it to me to fix and never put up any cash as a deposit, nor did he ever call me back to come get it. All I know is there was evidence of water having been in the fuel tank. I don't know if any ever made it to the engine.

Im looking for a good used wrap handle for a 028 stihl any body got one for trade or green i need one to finnish a job

I have the stock wrap handle from an 028 AV Super WoodBoss, you don't happen to have any Jonsered 670 (filter cover, throttle linkage) or John Deere CS56 parts (chain brake, chain brake lever, air filter cover) do you?

Randy, I just cleaned the dirt and crud off of that oil cap and I see it is actually a spool of trout line. No wonder it leaked. And the spark plug has no electrode. (That explains the loss of compession in my 8500)

But I did find a broken brake band for a 390 - you could probably solder-TIG-together it in your lathe thingy.:msp_smile:

Last chance for me to take away that FS 85 carcass you have sitting around! or bits of it atleast! I have a good shaft, P/C, FW, clutch, and that is about it. Looking for a burnt up powerhead.
