Ted if Jim doesn't have one for you I may have a good one to spare. Got several covers, but will have to more closely inspect for cosmetic 'goodness'. Can you post a couple pics of your saw so we know which style it is (they changed the cosmetics a lot on these over the years)?

Here's a pic. The cover got whacked very near the kill switch. I've already sourced a kill switch and thought I had a cover locally, but that fell through. Hence, the need for a cover ...

I'll look to see what I have. Got a couple of that style, but unsure about condition at the moment. My 'best' SXL-AO has that style cover, but you ain't getting that one.:D

anyone still run a poulan 3400??? not mine, but looking through local CL adds and found a running $40 3400!
Chainsaw poulan

I'd put it in the "saw it on CL" thread but we see more traffic here...

That's a good deal. I don't need another one of those however (recently sold one). There's yet another NICE saw of that series (an almost new looking grey Craftsman 3.0 labeled 3400 this time) on my local CL. Once more, it's in the exact same area as the last six or so that have come up. 5-6 hours ROUND TRIP. The gas and time $$$ make 'em not worth it. For some reason, almost every desirable Poulan that's come up in my local CL has been in that same location (a dozen total at least over the last two years)......
