Pretty sure he is off on the price of the motor. Just lost an engine in a smaller morbark this week a 13" reman motor for this 1 is 9k plus core.

He's also off on the price of a new chipper back when he bought his. You can still buy a new one now for under $100k. It's really not a good deal after what is all needed to be done to it. If it's been sitting a while the drum bearings will be needed to be changed as well. The chipper is worth $18-$20k the way it sits.

This guy called to see if I wanted it. There's a big hole in the block so the core is trash. Unknown hours but my guess is it has high hours, over 4,000. Looks like its hammered. He said he had an offer of $18k. I told him to sell it since I wouldn't give him $1000 for it.
