Pretty sure he is off on the price of the motor. Just lost an engine in a smaller morbark this week a 13" reman motor for this 1 is 9k plus core.
 
He's also off on the price of a new chipper back when he bought his. You can still buy a new one now for under $100k. It's really not a good deal after what is all needed to be done to it. If it's been sitting a while the drum bearings will be needed to be changed as well. The chipper is worth $18-$20k the way it sits.
