Hello fellow members,
A friend aquired a Baileys 044 52mm big bore kit, come to find out his saw has 10mm wrist pin. Piston with kit is 12mm. Has anyone here that owns an 044 ever attemped to not use the 52mm piston that comes in the NWP kit and substitute say a Meteor 52mm piston with 10mm pin? And if so the end results.

Well after a lot of research on the net I couldn't find any company that sells a 52mm piston fitted for 10mm pin so I sent him this German made big bore kit with 52mm jug and piston with 10mm pin specifically for the 044...sure would save a lot of headaches
Not too much more cost than the 12 mm pin kit from Baileys. Shipping to Ca is about 12 bucs.
