I bought the titanium spurs a while ago.
Something I noticed about them.
When I compared my Bashlins to the t-2s I found that the weight difference I think is +/- 6oz. That is really nothing.
While the t-2s are a proven design and are comfortable, so are the bashlins. In fact the Bashlins are a little wider at the stirrup.
Just something to think about.
When the manufacturers come out with a new product it may or may not be "better".
The product salespeople rarely if ever give you the straight scoop on the products either. Check out how Husky pushed the inital sales of the 335xpt climbing saw. They did'nt have the kinks worked out. (still dont IMO!)
or how about the t-2s? Just pole gaffs offered? How lame is that? I gotta weight 2 years for them to be made?
We as the consumer are often at the mercy of aggresive salespeople and equipment manufactures.
We gotta walk a thin line here. I want innovation but I want quality as well
For example:
One year it is silver pulleys and the next gold colored. Go figure
