:dizzy: I have two of these chipper and the tach in not working on one the other is smashed. Where is the sensor for the tach located at? They are the 4 clylinder perkins diesels and I would like to have the tach up and running on the one I'm using. There is a sensor on the injector pump but I think that is for the fuel shut off. I dont Know. The tach sits on 400 till You start it, As You start it acts like it wants to work then it drop to 0. I got both of these chippers for $1200 and they both run just need little bits here and there. Any help would very nice.

Thanks Rob

The wiring harness is a taped up mess But After looking thing over I believe that it runs off the alterator, There is two wire not hooked up by the back side of the alterator. The one that is smashed has the wires hooked up But the one I'm using doesn't have the spot. Someone put a stardard chevy alt on it. Does thing sound right? Once I get this hooked up What rpm sould I run it at? We ran the morbark at about 2300rpms. There is a ajustable set screw on the injector pump for high and low should these be the Limit's that the machine should run at? Does anyone know how tight the wedge block have to be (ft lbs)?

C and D? IDK what are You reffering to?
