Not sure if this is the same thing or not but here goes. Years ago I use to be into long distance cycling (pedal bike), and averaged about 60 to 80 km a day six days a week. I noticed that after pedaling for that long without resting, I would have a hard time adapting to walking on the ground. I thought it was just a matter of using different leg muscles or something like that. Could have been a matter of sitting in the bike saddle and pinching a nerve or a circulation issue as mentioned with a climbing saddle. But I was never dizzy. Always had lots of carbs and water with me! HC

john paul, the saddle i use is a weaver i think. its the floating d-ring type with the leg straps. not the most comfortable thing in the world, but it gets the job done. im gonna get a tribe saddle soon, i'll see if that helps any. it could be the saddle cutting off circulation.

off balence

i always find when i change an activity (climbing, cycling etc) where i have had prolonged exposure to it when i get off to walk i stumble around (for lack of a beter phrase) and always put it down to different balance/movement types.

the first few mins on the ground i trip on the small things, then its back to usual.

never dizzy, i often 'feel' the bed rocking at night after a windy day
