Absolutely great set of pics. Probably the best anyone has done yet. Great job Thall and Hoss!!!!!!!

Thanks Spike, we did have a good time indeed. Ole Hoss came by today to let me know his buddy has some more big wood up there on his place and wondered if I'd like to come again. Answer was a swift YES. The fellow's property that we were on is something to behold. Sits up on a mountain and about 50 miles from Washington DC. The views on that place are unreal. You can see all the way to DC from up there.

Many years ago there was a plane crash up on that same mountain. A big jet liner was coming into Dulles airpot on a foggy bad weather morning and drop down too soon. It crashed through that mountian losing all passengers and crew. If you google Mount Weather Virginia it will give you a idea of where this place is. Interesting thing is there is alot of government secrets supposely upon this mountain as well. Might make for some good reading.

Tom...........nice to finally see your face!!!:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

Ahh...nah. Never met him. If anything those boys would probably be giving me the business! Tom seems to put up with me well enough so far. I gotta keep on his good side.

Hey hey hows that 361 doing?? Has the wife made you put it out in the shed yet and BE HONEST, wink!

aahaha...she's still in the basement...swear. You can ask the wife when you see her!

I'll be out in Hume, VA (pronounced hue-mee ;) ) cutting up an oak and some pine trees this weekend on a property for my buddy's father. I'll try to snap a few pics (won't stand up to this thread though for sure). Anyway, I'm anxious to really give her a test. So far I love it though. I'll stop by the shop first time I get a chance. The wife definitely thinks I have lost my marbles...

Here is one of Hoss practicing for 2 months before the big event...:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: At THALL's shop.....

.

Yeah that little Dolmy was nice but you should have seen the monster homlite we put to wood at Tommy's shop today. That thing was blasting through the wood. It was an xp1000 (100cc's) that i've had for a while but finally got all the needed details and a good carb adjustment (thanks Tommy) to really start using it.
