I put my 281/288 project back together last night. I decked & ported the cylinder (.018 squish), Walker style muffler, 9 pin racing sprocket from madsen's, Piston kit from Bailey's, my first "race" chain (square filed, pin style depth gages). In my inexperienced eyes, this thing rips! fastest saw I have ever used! THANK YOU A.S., for sharing the information and advice I needed to have a successful first project saw. You guys Rock! :rocker: :rockn:

I will post some pics, I want some good shots of the cutters, so you guys can keep me goin' in the right direction. I think I need a bigger saw........maybe alcohol..........NOS............piped...........I'm HOOKED!

Here's the saw, I couldn't get a clear pic of a cutter, I'll keep trying. I wish I could post the smell of that Cam2 race fuel it's burning!

Anybody know if that 288XP topend would fit a 480CD?
