With the Homelite, do you mean a Super XL/XL12 magnesium 55 or 58cc rear handle saw with the air filter cover a the top of the saw..........................or the little XL2/Super2 30-ish cc magnesium or plastic 'clamshell-case' top handle saw with the little foam air filte at the front? I can help you if it's the XL12/SXL.......but not the XL2/Super2.

It is the latter, mag/plastic XL with the carb and foam air filter in the front of the top-handle-ish saw. It would have been sweet if they put a second trigger on the thing up front where it would have been more useful.

Some of those XL2/Super2 saws do have two triggers. One just aft of the middle for 'rear handle' use, and one up front. Did you get my PM about the Craftsman/Poulan?
