The Knut Hitch Revisited!!!

I just started fooling with the Knut hitch. To those that have used the Knut and the VT, What is your preference?


Is there much difference other than the self-tailing qualities of the Knut?

Both, put the Knut finish on the VT finish, for similar self tending properties.

Presently riding Icicle in 3/8 Tenex fer awhile, feeling it out; kinda like it!

Ya should try the Blake's at least get a glimpse here.

If ya take a tress cord and tie a Blake's, only with tail going down 2 coils instead of up and pull both legs to stretch out, ya get kinda a VT with not enough coils; i beleive the lacings are that similar.
