One of the key concepts of Science is disproving hypotheses; that is, if we find that we're wrong, we learn from our failed experiment and move on, wiser and ready to learn again. "Invested in an agenda" necessarily precludes sound scientific principles. This is why I have such a hard time with environmental groups. I'm wrong pretty often, but seldom am I wrong in the same way twice.
 
They saw a mess in the stream, I saw badly needed fish logs. ;) I liked the titles under the "experts"...fisherman, war hero, and mom. That's something different.

I drove up along a road where I worked on administering many commercial thinning units. Some looked like they needed it again and it has only been 7 or 8 years. We grow trees quite well here.
