What you see here was a normal healthy Husky family until some joker decided to run low octane gas in those high quality saws. The result was the ugly "bastard" offspring you see in the lower right corner of the pic, but I suspect that it may have been more than just "bad gas". I think there may be an old Stihl lurking in this family`s woodpile. Russ:D

i agree that is a good place for a stihl. i went out to try to start my 031av this weekend for the first time since i got it which while i was away at school. i pulled it once and it didn't fire and i pulled ti a second time and the recoil cup stripped out. i think it was some bad gas.

Its in the right place alright. Out front where its EZ to get to since its the only one that will get any work done.

Ya, I know what you guys are saying. I got a heap o' saws that puffed themselves on that nasty low octane.
It's all Fishes fault though, for not warning us earlier.
John

Yeah, I am coming around to the "Ping" theory. I fired up my
saw the other day and it exploded immediately, killing my
neighbor and his dog, a ???? fine beagle! I will get premium from now on.

Otherwise no legal problems, as my neighbor was from
Arkansas. He was a Husky owner to boot!

It blew that Orange right off that Huskypoulan.

 Was it bad gas, or is it husky is a bad saw? Hey if that is what bad gas produces then I am going to buy it in 55 gallon barrels.;)

Hey jokers, do you even cut wood with those huskys? they sure look awfully clean to have been used much, but ol'reliable Stihl looks like it has been used a little, I knew you knew what the most reliable saw was and it shows. lol.

2 Brand New, 1 Well used

Hi AJ, you`re right, they are awfully clean. That`s because the 372 pictured there was brand new, as was what I believe to be a 345 based on what looks like a plastic handle. The 371 on the right has over 400 documented hours on it and still ran like a bear, long gone now though, a logger in Michigan is making money with it now and has contacted me asking if I have any others to sell him. That 371 was one of the first in the area and I was told one of the first in the state and it was a single ring saw. So much for all that Stihl single ring is junk BS. I dressed it up for the picture with a new bar and a good bath, but I like to keep them clean anyway. The 019T pictured there is the biggest POS chainsaw I have ever owned, it`s a heavy, low revving, tempermental, gutless wonder of a chainsaw with the resale value of a rock. I gave it to my 5 yr old son and so far he`s happy with it, but he can`t run it unless I`m there with him so he doesn`t have to worry about keeping it running right by himself. If you look closely you will see parts of an old 041AV peeking out in the lower part of the pic. It was a good saw in it`s day, belonged to my Dad, but I bought an Echo CS750EVL that would eat it for breakfast in every way, and thus began my suspicion that Stihls are not all they are cracked up to be. I have had good Stihls over the years though, Just like Elux products better at this point in time. Russ

Stihl saws are female, and they like to hang around those Huskys.

I just noticed the one broken down haggly old whore hanging around those old Homelites.

Excuse my antaganism; My mind hasn't recovered from that Atlanta / Green bay deal last night. I gotta go pay money now. Wonder if they will take my used 028. $100.

Hey jokers, If you can wheedle it away from that discriminating 5 year old send that illegitimate stepchild to me. I'll put it to hard labor at dangerous heights then feed it good food with fake dressing.;)
