Looks like you got the majority of it cleaned up, lots of wood in that tree. How did it split, you have any tough pieces?

I'd say we're about half done. (pic doesn't show the whole area.) That thing in some places had so really wild grain. We've stalled the splitter on a couple! If the wood is 'read' right...it's not a problem.

At least now the engine on the splitter isn't blowing smoke and the compression is up!

That stump would make a cool pic-a-nic table if you could figure out how to attach some little benches to it...:msp_thumbup:

A BIG THANK YOU! to all of the guys that helped on this one! We're still working on getting it all split up.

Nice job of getting it to ground without hitting the septic tank! That could have been bad!

You have enough splitting to do there that you will not be bored for a while!

Good job!

Ted

Wood is off the grass......a lot of it got split.

Well the mess is finally cleaned up for the most part! There's still an impact crater in the lawn. I'm going to have to have a few words with that tree company! :msp_mad: :hmm3grin2orange:

I'll get a pic of the wood pile some time. We didn't get all split up, but it's off of the grass.

Just so you know, I DID think of you guys splitting all that wood- while I was on Lake Vermillion! Fishing. And no, not even one time, did I wish I was there instead of where I was! Sorry Dan! :hmm3grin2orange:
Glad to see you were able to get things done!

Glad you had a good time! Did you catch anything?

We were able to come home with a day's limit each(nothing big), although it took two days to catch them. So I guess you could say it was a bit slow. In reality, the fish are secondary to the good times, conversation, and memory making that happens on opening weekend. I do believe a few of the guys may have had a beer too. So I might have to be their memory on some of the events!:msp_confused:
