Over the last three years, I've tried to use most of the items that I get from Sherrill.

If I dont use them personally, I try to be around the people that do. I've tried all the ascenders and now use just the lockjack and pantin--why?? because I can.

I've used various ropes. True blue, blue streak, high-vee,xtc,
yellow jacket, pro stripe and pro spec.-- why?? because I can.

Friction savers, pullies, loop runners, slings, saddles.

Well you guys get the picture...

This week I'am testing... tecnu products........ why?????

BECAUSE I HAVE TO!!!! AUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!:(

you Minnesota people don't come in and buy any, cuz I'am using all for myself! Good thing I have short fingernails. Augh

Ah, the things your Vermeer reps, will do for you.
aint it great??? :D

I don't get poison oak anymore like I used to. You should get used to it after a couple of years of pain and suffering. I know a guy who rubs it on cuts as a first aid treatment.

Oral-Ivy works just like repeated exposure, only without the years of pain and suffering.

Actually, reactions from PI is a sign that your immune functions are working properly

I've never got PI rashes, though people swear they saw me pulling it out of shrubs. Luckilly it is mostly a low growing vine here, freezes out in winter.

Growing up in northern California I've had lots of contact with both poison oak and poison ivy. Never had a problem, so never gave it a thought when I started yanking, raking and mowing it out of my pine trees.

Guess now that I'am an old man, my immune system is too.

I really am lucky, I dont have it bad, just on my inner arms.
I do know what pain and suffering some of you go thru.

Well I'll see what happens this week-end when I do it all over again.

JPS: I'am over in Cornell/Lake Holcomb area, come on over---
bring gloves :D

I've been taking Oral Ivy for about a year now. I still get poison ivy, however the rash is usually gone within a few hours :) Normally for me it would be around for several days and would get REALLY bad. So I guess it's worth it to take the couple drops a day so that I can reduce the effects a LOT.

The product test is complete:blob2:

After three days of using tecnu and cala-gel, my rash is completely
gone. No more itching!! What a great product. After applying
either one, usually the itching was gone after a minute or so and lasted all day. Sometimes I had to apply it twice a day, but no more. Even after last week-end, working in the Ivy again.
Great stuff.

Now, after screwing around with an ibuki saw this morning----
wheres that dam blood stopper kit? Guess thats my next test. :(

I had never been alurgic (sorry for the spelling) to PI untill a few months ago when blocking down a large hickory that was COVERED with it for the first 30'. My ground guy thought I was nuts for climbing it but I said "PI?, I'm immune to it, always have been!!" and up I went. Put the tree down fine and all, well I scrached myself on the way up and barely drew blood; two days latter I had PI from my wrists to my biceps!!! Most miserable two weeks of my life, it looked like I had been exposed to mustard gas!!!

I want an ibuki, but not sure I want to get cut worse than I already have with the zubat. I have drawn blood 4 times with the zubat. I let a friend use it yesterday....let me just say that sharing silky saws is like sharing needles :p
