Well I had a great time last night taking the clubs apart to clean that area. Did all that to investigate a bad oiling issue. From what I can tell it was a bad seal between the pickup hole on the pump and the little rubber hose end at the tank due to crud. Ran it a good bit this morning and let it idle a lot and now I have some pooling happening.
Flushed the oil res with diesel twice. I will most likely add a splash to the bar oil to help flush the whole system now as well.
Also replaced the broken brake handle today, that spring reinstall was a task. Thanks to donyboy73 on YouTube. I used the hollow tube off the air compressor to slide the spring down onto the post after failing too many times with the trampoline spring tool
Back in the day when there were a lot of drum brakes on vehicles they used to sell some wonderful tools for getting springs elongated and over posts under tension- but a flat blade screwdriver works as well.
