Definitely awesome.

Tree work applications would need a much slower climb rate, the one in the videos is 10 feet per second and that thing looks like it could mess you up on a limb.

It looks like a big box that costs several grand. If it is just for entry, I can get buy with a 5-10 foot locks on $150 ascenders.

I'll wait for others to do the field trials.
