haha .. I read it as "this still sucks" not "this stihl sucks" or "this stihl, sucks" (as intended) .. cool AV.

I guess it was 10 or 12 years ago when STIHL was selling vacs and pressure washers here, and I brought home a SE 100. My wife said, "You paid how much for a shop vac!!!"
Two nights later our 4 year old son comes into the bedroom in the middle of the night, says he doesn't feel good, then pukes all over the new carpet.
I go get the vac, pour some hot water on the mess, vac it all up, put the vac outside for a good cleaning in the morning, and go back to bed. Next morning, no mess, no smell, can't even tell it happened.
So she says, " I don't care how much you paid for it, it was worth it!"
I still use it all the time, and I had it up at church doing some work, and the other guys had their Sears and other brands, and all were amazed at how quiet it was and how good a job it did.
It is a shame they quit selling them here.

Do Toooo...took the vac attachments and wheels off an put a 20" B&C on mine. I now use the hose as a choker and the vacuum head to roll the logs.:hmm3grin2orange: :biggrinbounce2: :hmm3grin2orange:

Great for when the power is out. Just not sure if the two cycle smell would be worth the excellent cleaning characteristics?:monkey:

Also, would you still need to fill the bar oil reservoir?

Great pic, btw.

Plastic!

Post 1 = plastic "homeowner" model.

Post 8 = "pro" model with horizontal split magnesium case.;)

The handle color threw me off for a moment. Good thing it had the "Magnum" sticker.

Note to Timberhauler: The model you're eying is a "pro" model for the woods. Do not use it on your carpet at home. Mrs. TC may not be happy.

No oil ... takes carpet cleaner but if the carb is not adjusted then it makes a mess. H needle adjustments are crucial with this type of setup. Oh and the two-cycle smell can be increased by a muffler mod. These fumes are known to help improve the operators stamina!

It's a modern marvel. :rockn:
