They are bigger that you would expect, especially the heavier ones. The strap tore off one the first week from trying to pull it free from being snagged. They do fly good out of the big shot but I have switched back to the bags as they seem to snag less.

I think they kick as.s. I have a 12oz. IMO it snags less than a shot bag of equal weight. Def flies nice outa bigshot. Doesn't richocet nearly as much as you may think by looking at it. In fact I think it may richocet even less than a shot bag believe it or not. The only reason I bought it was becuz I needed to spend like alittle more to get to the 100 mark for free shipping. Buying that throw ball made my bill like 102 so I figured WTH....glad I did. I would DEF buy again.

been holden off getting a couple till i see a few more evaluations from some of the pros on here , seems like they will fly real nice tho

are they golf ball size?

I don't see any way to replace the strap without breaching the ball. I might cut open the one with a busted strap and have a look, if I can find where we tossed it.

I am sure there is no way to fix or replace the strap. Hard to believe it broke. I would think the line would break first. I have snapped off some half decent sized branches pulling mine. Well, as in 1 or 1.5 inch, maybe alittle bigger. Mostly I am just very careful not to get it stuck. One thing that I noticed is that a reg shot bag can have a tendancy to get wedged into areas that a ball wont because it cant even start into the area where it can get stuck. The ball will simply come to that point and then stop and go no farther. But if you let off it SHOULD slid back down where you can untie it and start over. The shot bag can have a tendancy to enter into a tight spot just enough to get wedged and then she is stuck. The shot bags have a bit of a tapered shape that can make this happen.

Pretty much spot on. I added one to an order for the same reason and will probably end up getting a 10 and a 14 next time I need something from sherrill.
