tillotson HL rebuild

Hello, A question about the fulcrum pin on the HL, it has some red sealer or locktite on it, how necessary is it? Going to replace the lever and needle/seat, looks like the pin screws out, does it have to locktited back in?

Can't say as I ever had one back out, but a little dab won't hurt.

They got back to me pretty quickly and couldn't have been more helpful.

When I rebuilt my HS118 on my 045 I don't remember any sign of any thread sealer, so I put it back together without.
