I'm looking for a tilt trailer to haul my antique cars. What is a good brand. I'm tired of using ramps on my large equipment trailer. thanks

How big are you looking for, a 12 ton 18 ft is awesome for hauling the skidsteer.

H&H trailers they are built in Iowa and have to be the best built trailers I have ever seen. They go the extra mile to make the trailer the best they possibly can. Their enclosed trailers have line-x sprayed below them to make them last longer. I am telling you I have looked at so many enclosed trailers these are the best in the world. I am sorry I got of track you want to know about tilt. They makes those are great too. My father has one and uses it haul skid loaders on and well anything you can put on there. He put a tractor on his which way over loaded it and it handled it like champ. I am telling you if you can find a dealer somewhere this is the brand I would go with. If you can't find a dealer drop me a PM and I will hook you up with one. I think you can also pick them up right from the manufactuer.

once you use a tilt top you will never want to lift a ramp again.

i've never used a tilt trailer before.... but, don't you unpin the front of the trailer,,,,back off,, and it sort of does a see-saw thing down ???? reverse going up ???

seem like it would do a lot of slamming on a old car. when the deck flipped....unlike a skid steer,, which you could creep really slow to get the thing to flip slowly,, vs riding the clutch on a car...... i think i would go with a low car carrier trailer... those ramps are short and light..

The H&H tilt trailers are operated by a hydralic ram that you either pump by hand or is electric. So if you want to drop it down you use release the valve slowly.
