Yea, I know, it's not what you guys make money with, but it's a big strong cutter for my personal firewood harvesting. I fell with it, then buck the big stuff, usually kneeling on my 63 yr old knees. Then I break out the little MS250 and do the small stuff.

Now that that's out of the way, a buddy has a Timberbear too and his needs a starter spring, or perhaps a whole side plate, if someone has a junker. He might even buy new if you know a source. It's too good a saw to throw out!

To make things easier, a starter from a PM610, 650, 655, or even a few Montgomery wards saws will work. the TMY24084A is the one I know of off the top of my head, its a PM610 in disguise as a montgomery wards saw.
